When I write something on editor window appear characters not typed:

for example:

#include <stdio$%.h> 
$%: are se invalid chars.
$ : ascii 215.
% : ascii 212.

This is not a DJGPP problem: RHIDE is a separate package.

I suspect that the actual problem is with non-ASCII characters being
generated by the user's keyboard.

Also, the DJGPP version is very old.
